"These are great pants, I read the first reviewers comments about going down one size and I followed his advise. I wear a 38 but ordered a 36 and they fit great. I will be getting another pair or two. Great products from 5-11. Keep up the good work on your fire service side of the business."

"These pants are perfect for station life. I have always had large legs and the straighter cut in the legs makes these pants the first truly comfortable station pants I have ever had. they make it less restrictive especially with all the moving/bending around that is done by a fire company on an average shift. Pants never tuck into turnout boots like you would want them to anyways and that is the last thing on my mind when getting on the truck to go help others. I've had 5.11 stuff when I was in the military and it always worked well for me so great transition into the public safety scene! I have had a pair for about a month now, washed them a few times and have no problems yet so great job and keep up the good work!"

5.11 Station Pants Not Durable

"I am a firefigther and also a supplier of Fire and EMS apparel. I asked My fire Chief if I could demo a pair of the station pants at my station to see if they would last and also to see if was a product I would sell to my customers. I was impressed with them at first but after wearing them for 2 months the quality is just not there yet. I washed and dryed the pant to specs. after about 15-20 washes there was fraying at the ankles of the pants, the corner of the pockets and a seam let loose. the color lasted ok. after talking with other firefighters they had the same problems. The pants just don't hold up. I liked the cut of the pants and the extra pockets. I think 5.11 is on to something, the pants are not what I call firefighter proof."

"I originally ordered these pants in a 36 waist, which is what all my pants are, uniform and other. I found them to be really big, baggy in the in the thigh area, and large in the legs as others have stated. I ordered 2 more pair and dropped down a size (to a 34). The fit was much better and they are extremely comfortable. All the little pockets are great. Even with the smaller waist, I found the legs to be too wide. I have another brand of pants I've worn for years, and they are 9 inches wide at the bottom. The 5.11 pants are almost 11 inches wide. I'm having them tapered from the knee down with the hopes this will help. The pants are so comfortable it's worth having a little work done to them. It would be nice to get them that way out of the box though. Great pants if fitted correctly."

"These are very comfortable pants. Great features like waistband expands and has aband to hold shirt in. Only dislike is the pant legs are very straight. Makes for a bell like pant. Too much cloth to put in fireboots. Better if legs tappered in like the tactical pants."

"As a firefighter/special operations technician, it is difficult to find durable, comfortable uniforms. The Station Pants fit the bill. Well constructed....the details make this pant exceptional! The only complaint I have is that the lower legs cut too generously - makes it hard to stuff them in my turnout boots. 5.11 - please keep developing your Fire/EMS line of products!!!!"
