"These are great pants - what more needs to be said? They're durable, comfortable, have logically laid out pockets and look great to boot.
If you are in warmer climates then these make a great choice - on the range, on the job, or even just on the town.

"I just bought my third pair of Taclite Pro pants. I'm not in law enforcement, fire fighting or EMS, I'm an IT person and general geek. 5.11 pants are the best for carrying gadgets and small tools. The pockets are well placed, easy to get to and just the right size for everything I need. Quality is top-notch and they wear like iron."

"I always found the regular cotton tactical pants to be a little heavy and hot for warmer months. When I found out about these, I had to buy them and have absolutely no regrets. All the great features of the cotton pants, but cooler and with a slightly better fit."

"Bought the pants 2 months ago, and haven't stopped wearing them. Working in a support role, we can wear a uniform TDU's and a polo or t-shirt, or can wear slacks and dress shirt in the office. I find myself wanting to wear these pants every day, along with a polo shirt. All my other clothes are just collecting dust in the closet now. They are soo light, and comfortable and even in the Dark Blue, they barely get warm. Will know for sure when the triple digit heat come knocking in a few weeks, but even in the 90's lately, they are way cooler than any other pants. I will make sure I am wearing these when I put my nomex on to ensure I stay cool. One word of warning though, make sure to wash the dark blue, and I assume the black too, with ONLY dark blue or black clothes. The blue color bled all over the last two loads of laundry, and I have washed them 5 times or more already. Looks like some of the kids clothes are ruined now."

"Tac Pro Pants are similar to the cotton version in construction but considerably lighter. Legs tend to be narrow and drag over the knees when lifting your leg slightly restricting movement. I'd point out the cotton version does the same. Also, Taclite material is "shiney" in sunlight even after several washings."

"I like the design of the 5.11 tactical pants. They do a great job with all the gear I've taken to carrying around on me. My only problem is that they fit a bit odd. The length seems fine when I stand up, but whenever I sit and cross my legs, the cuff rides halfway up my calf. Other than that, these are great pants."

"These pants are the only pants I will trust in wildland SAR missions. They protect you from almost any aspect in the woods and have a great capacity for carry essential gear needed. This takes the load off of your backpack. Also as an emt-als provider they will with stand blood stains with no prior treatment before washing. SIMPLY THE BEST PANTS I HAVE EVER OWNED!"

"These are perfect for warm weather climates!! The magazine pocket blew my mind...I stored a Glock 21 mag in there and didn't feel it all day long. I had to check a couple of times because I thought it may have fell out some how. Sizing threw me off I am 6'3" and ordered a 34 inseam and they were too long (I would suggest one length shorter than your used to). Great jog 511 you nailed this one!"

"This is my third pair of 511 pants and my first with the rip stop material. I love them. Very comfortable and fit perfect. I have shopped other brands and tried on many BDU style pants and I keep coming back to 511. Can't beat the quality."
