"These, are THE BEST light tactical pants on the market. I tried all the major brands before settling on these. The material feels great and looks great. They are tough, light, and quite. And they fit great. The waist band is very substantial, it keeps your pants up even with loaded pockets. I have tried ALL other brands of tactical clothing, 5.11 is the very best."

"As a Paramedic we are usually issued some really lame EMS pants that are hard on the hips and always tear at the crotch (more than a few EMT students, male & female, have earned the name Splits!). What defines the typical EMS pant are a pair of straps on the thigh to secure trauma sheers, though most of us in the field carry sheers on our belt.
I bought a pair of the regular Taclite pants on a hunch and I found them to be great for work. The Pro pants are great on the hotter days. So far they have held up very well, with the Pro pants holding their color for the past 6 months with weekly washing. The regular pants have shown a little fade, but held up better than the traditional EMS pants.
It's the waist, hips & crotch that have really held up. These pants are very comfortable throughout long shifts and the occasional hike into the brush for SAR.
The pockets fit my wallet, knife & iphone. The auxiliary mag pocket fits 2-3 pairs of gloves perfectly. The Teflon coating has held up well and prevent a few stains.
Worth spending a few of my own dollars for the comfort & utility."

"Great pair of pants. The taclite pro pant has replaced my duty uniform pants (don't tell my chief). I work 3rd shift & we wear a solid black cargo pant for our uniform, but as any cop knows, the poleyester material most uniform pants are made of is brutal in the heat. The Taclite pants look (almost) identical to our uniform pant & I go thru the hottest night cool as I can be."

"The Taclite Pro Pants are by far the most comfortable pants I have ever worn hands down. I wear these just about everywhere I go; whether its on a Police ride-along, work, out in public, etc. The number of pockets make it easy for me to carry my cellphone, wallet, keys, ipod, etc. with me without having bulges sticking out everywhere, feeling uncomfortable, and having to dig around in one pocket like a normal pair of dress pants or jeans. Speaking of jeans, I wear the Taclite Pro Pants 9 times out of 10; I rarely wear a normal pair of dress pants or jeans."

"I bought these because I find the cotton pants to be too heavy and baggy. My only wish is that they made them in a bootcut fit because I really don't like the look of the tapered leg on pants as baggy as these. However, the tapered leg is less noticeable on the trimmer Taclites."
