Great General Purpose Pants!

"I bought the flannel lined Tactical pants last year to wear under my leathers for winter motorcycle riding and liked them so much that I bought another pair of flannel lined and one pair of regular Tactical pants for summer wear. I use them for casual motorcycle riding and for general purpose wear. Recently they were on sale so I grabbed another couple of pairs to use when the other ones wear out. I like the loose fit and multiple pockets and double protection on the knees and seat and the look of the pants."

"I recently purchased my first pair of 5:11 tactical pants. These are not my first tactical pants, but they are my favorites.
They fit like a glove. The waist and length run true to what I expected. The elastic in the waistband enhances the comfort. The fact they have no drawstring on the bottom of the legs makes them more convenient to wear. My other cargo pants do have drawstrings and sometimes, I just don't want to bother.
I have washed the pants once and dried them in the dryer and there has been no shrinkage.
Nice pants and, I got them on sale. Life is good!"

"I HAVE BEEN WEARING 5.11 PANTS EVERYDAY FOR ABOUT 6 YEARS. REALLY PRACTICAL. NOT ALWAYS COLOR FAST, SOME OF THE COLORS TEND TO WEAR OUT IN THE KNEE AND THIGH AREA AFTER WASHING. I THINK THEY ADDED BELT LOOPS ON THE SIDE. I DID COMPLAIN TO THE 5.11 REP THAT IT NEEDED AN EXTRA BELT LOOP TO BEAR THE WEIGHT OF A PISTOL"

Scouting for a new huntin' spot.
"I was going on a hunting trip and decided to drop by my local Goodwill Store. There I found my first pair of these pants for 11 bucks. They fit perfect. I took them on the trip and wanted to wear them everyday. Lots of room, rugged, great fit! After the trip I went on-line and bought another pair. This time in Tundra, so the dirt won't show."

"The pants are comfortable in nearly any activity. The kneepad option is terrific but have found that either the kneepad is slightly too small or the pants need to be able to accommodate a larger kneepad. For me, each kneepad needs to be manually positioned or it does not work. Excepting that, if the pants would have a pen and marker pocket, they would be absolutely perfect!"

"The trousers aren't bad only bought these because I wanted the grays. The other, lighter ones should also come in gray, right now, they do not. These particular trousers aren't bad but are more for cold weathe rmonths, I wanted the lighter trousers, same style, but they don't come in light gray or charcoal gray."

Great pants but not long enough for tall people

"These tactical pants are great for carrying the tools needed for a computer technician for a police department. We support multiple offices in multiple buildings and you always need to have your tools with you and easily accessible.
The only problem for me is that I'm 6'6" tall and normally wear a 38" inseam. The maximum these pants come in is a 36" inseam (except in kahki). I don't understand why these pants are not made longer in the other colors."

"I work intheatre and have a number of pairsof these pants. I use the tan during the day and the black during performances. The pockets hold all my tools plus. They last forever. One of the really helpful things is the kneepads. They too are great."
