Bad design on pockets

"For everyday wear, not a bad pair of jeans. I've had mine about 2 years and I quit wearing them about 9 months ago. The rear pockets will not support your wallet unless you carry one that is VERY thin. The front pockets are too small also. Sit down in a recliner and anything in your front pockets will fall into the seat. NONE of the pockets are deep enough. Don't even think about using the internal pockets. Great concept, just not practical! I really hope that 5.11 will decide to listen to its customers and redesign the jean pants or scrap the whole thing. I'll be more than happy to be a product tester."

"The jeans are perfectly fine as just another pair of blue jeans.
The special features, that is, the hidden pockets are not likely to satisfy people who buy these jeans for these advertised special features. The hidden pockets are smaller and less useful than one would expect. As the other reviewers have stated, standing up may be okay. Also, the "handgun" pocket is awfully small for all but the smallest of weapons.
If you're thinking of using these pants as travel pants you can forget about fitting your passport into the hidden pockets, they're too small. You could however get loose paper cash into the pockets."

Great casual wear, needs some improvement

"I like these jeans for casual wear. I find them to be very durable. As for carrying a weapon, forget about it. Handcuffs OK, weapon not ok. I also find it difficult to get to the mags. Instead I use a holster with an oversized shirt to drape over it. Keep trying. Your other products are great!"

"These jeans are a great idea for concealed carry, but they were never thought out or tried out. If you wear them as regular jeans they work good, once you put a weapon of magazine in the concealed pockets your troubles begin. If you can stand around all day no problem, but if you walk much or (PAIN) sit down, your problems are just beginning. The concealment pockets are placed in the wrong location and dig into you leg as soon as you start moving or sitting. A slightly thicker material next to the skin would not hurt either. The Cuff pocket is in a good location. When the designer is made to wear these all day with a full size auto in the pocket and a spare clip or two (I would love to watch that), they may get the bugs worked out."

"It is really important to get one size bigger so that you can properly conceal your gun. The IWB holster is a bit small for a 4 1/2 inch 1911. The mag pockets work well though. Oh, one other thing, if you have to sit for a while (driving, travelling) you may have to remove your gun from the holster."

"Pretty comfortable... they seem to be put together well.. the cuffs can be difficult to get out, and the pants only come in right handed so if you're a lefty the left side kinda gets weighted down with pistol,spare mag and cuffs all on the left side."

"I actually bought these through the NRA and love them. The interior concealed-carry pockets are revolutionary and quite ingenious. Though their location did take some getting used to, it was no different than wearing an IWB holster for the first time. The only 'bad' thing I can say is you may want to buy 1 size bigger than you normally wear. Not just for the equipment you plan on 'stuffing' inside your jeans. But, the ones I ordered are the same size I wear on all my other jeans and they were not loose at all. I like a little 'give', if you know what I mean. Enjoy your purchase!!"

"I have purchased these pants for off-duty wear. They have alot of hidden treasures and the fit is great. Not quite keen on the holster pocket being right in the front of the pants, as a larger frame can be concealed but it's uncomfortable. The pants will conceal everything else, just wear a concealment holster."

"I have two pairs of these. First I bought one to see how they fed. The first time I tryed them I felt them a little tight on thigh but after an hour or so I realized that thy were extremly confortable only that maybe should have little more space on hip areas. SInce they come with inside pockets for mags, knife or even flashlight, this reduces the space on pocket areas. The only other thing they really need to make my life complete is make them 38" inseam PLEASE."
