"the 5.11 taclite shirts are my favorite 5.11 shirts yet, and for good reason.

Firstly, they're made of a great material, pretty thin and comfortable, but when you look close you can see the ripstop pattern (they're also smooth and have a shiny finish). I live mostly in a tropical climate, and the taclites are most definitely LITE.

Furthermore, the Taclite shirts seem to be of a slightly different cut from the old cotton tactical shirts, they're a bit more of a formal dress shirt cut rather than the old 'inflated around the belly' cut.

Overall I really love these shirts. got myself two already.

So comfortable... May 8, 2009
"I bought this shirt looking for a good looking, yet functional shirt. I hate most button up shirts because the pockets are useless. I found the side entry pockets very useful and spacious.

The mesh backing also does wonders at keeping me cool in the heat.

My only real problem with the shirt is that the sleeves don't keep a clean, nice cuff when you roll them, but I got over it.
