One of my favorite 5.11 items

"Every work day I wear 5.11 from head to toe with the exception of my S&W 1911 PD. My review is on the 5.11 Tactical long sleeve nylon shirts. The night before I lay out everything I will need for the following day. This includes a red, blue and black pen along with a PDA and many hand size notebooks and much more. I work in a classroom in the morning then a firing range in the hot Texas afternoon. The way this shirt is design has made my job much easier and much cooler due to the vents for air flow. I pull the Velcro on the right side that holds my PDA. I don’t use a case because I know it is secured and won’t get scratched. I put it back after I do roll call. When it’s time to hit the range, I roll up my sleeve and pull the tab out to button them so they stay high and tight above my elbow. When I open the Velcro pocket on my left chest area I pull the three note books that I need for scoring. I always use the left pocket for my black pen and the blue and red go in the left sleeve pen pockets. My students often tell me that I am a very organized person. I owe this to the well design clothing 5.11 offers. TIP: I have learn this the hard way, check all pockets before doing or sending to the cleaners and if you have someone that does your laundry inform them to check all pockets."

"This shirt is terrific for big and tall men. I gave up on wearing long sleeve shirts because even most big and tall shirts do not give me enough room in the shoulders and sleeves. These shirts have ample room for me. It's a miracle! I can wear them all day long and never be miserable. They also have lots of length to spare. My second problem with shirts (including big and tall) is that they are too short and keep coming un-tucked. These shirts never ride up. I've never owned a shirt that fit better. I'm 6' 5", 330 pounds, 46 waist. I wear the 3X. Did I mention I love this shirt?!"

"Great pockets. The velcro "hidden" side pockets are perfect for a cell phone or documents. The fit is superb and the fabric and dye seem to hold up well with normal washing."

"This is the most full-featured shirt I know of yet it manages to maintain a low profile. It has many pockets but the all make sense so items don't get lost the way they do with other clothing items with "too many" pockets.
I use the hidden pockets for various documents, particularly while traveling. A security detail in India demanded to know where my passes were. When I whipped them out of the hidden pockets as neat as when they were issued to me a confrontation immediately changed to questions about the shirt and was the shirt available in India.
I'm not a large guy and this shirt in XS fits me perfectly."

"If you will be working long shifts going from day to night or warm to cold situations. Great shirt. Good looking, you may roll up sleeves and still keep them in place no matter what and then roll them down when cold comes. Fast drying and light weight. just another item of my 5.11 closet.
