"Unlike most web belts I've used over my brief career, this one holds tight. When you cinch the belt on, it does not loosen up until you tell it to. Also looking forward to not having to strip my belt on the next trip through the airport. Its the quality I've come to expect from 5.11"

"It's great, but if you wear it everyday for perhaps a year, the non-buckle end of the belt will begin to fray and it gets hard to pull it through the buckle.
Overall though, it works great. no more beep beep at the metal detector, and it holds my leatherman and flashlight without sag."

Awesome and inexpensive everyday belt January 28, 2009
"I picked up this belt in black, at a local retailer near a military base. I'm not LE or Fire or Mil. but I use lots of this type of gear in daily life because it's tougher than civilian stuff. I like the 1.75" TDU belt so much that I'm going to order another one as soon as I'm done typing this review. The only thing I had to get used to was where the perfect setting was on my waist, as this is not they typical belt where you know which hole is your preferred size. But this belt is quickly and easily adjusted, and the inclusion of larger sizes is very cool."

"These came with my TacLite's and I'm glad it did. It was a nice little promo. Good belt, its supportive enough for my holster and mag pouch. The non-metallic buckle is handy for travel too."

"I have a number of these belts that I use for casual wear or at work. With a hip holster it stays in place while wearing my Taclite pants. The belt has never come loose with a load and has held up very well with everyday use."

Good everyday casual belt August 27, 2008
"I purchased this belt for casual wear with my Tactical 5.11 pants. It has certainly been a good value and performed well. I like the plastic buckle as it minimizes the chances of setting off metal detectors in public buildings and airports. The only complaint I have is that the end is starting to unravel slightly after only 4 or so months of wear."

THE BEST SUPPORT FOR GEAR w/ no Airport Alarms August 27, 2008
"I purchased this belt awhile back direct from 5.11 and I carry about 25 lbs of excess equipment on this belt from large lenses and meters to knives, tools even thigh holsters and extra clips - for those 'troubled regions' - and have never had the belt 'rollover' or cause any problem. Even when moving quickly to catch - or get the heck safe out of the action. Recently I even bought a second for 'quick change' situations.
I have been using 5.11 gear for over a decade and have never had a piece of equipment or clothing fail to exceed my highest expectations!"

"Great belt for the price. It is very rigid and holds a load well without sagging. My only minor complaint would be that it digs in a bit when bending over, but that is usual with a stiff belt. For its use, stiffer is better so it really isn't a factor. Great product."
