"This watch looks expensive. It feels heavy. It is large and looks good on my dad who is a large man. I am very pleased with this purchase. It shipped fast and arrived within a week. The only con I can think of is that I did not get an email when the order shipped. I was left wondering when it would ship."

good dress watch

"I bought this watch as a dress watch and it works well. The only problem I have is it looses screws that holds the band on. 511 is very good at sending replacements so you should check the tightness of the screws often so you don't loose them. I wish it had the date on it6 but for the value it is a very nice watch and comes with a rubber watch band if you want not wear the stainless band."

"As a warning on this product, I would not recomend this one. I'm on my second replacement going on a third. The first watch lasted about 2 weeks. I took it swimming in a 4-5foot pool, the next day I noticed a small amount of water was between the two glass's. Impossible to get out or dry. I went a month before taking it back to the store to exchange for a new one. The new one lasted about a month before the second hand on the tachometer fell off and now floats around on top of the clock face. It was fine until I noticed that the hand that fell off would get caught up with the second hand causing the watch to lose time (minutes to even hours if I didn't catch it in time). I'm no longer able to take the watch to work in fear of running late to my assigned areas throughout the day. The only other issue is that the metal finish has also faded off on the backside and revelas the copper or brass metal that the watch is made up of. Now, I need to take it back to the store or send it in for repairs. Other than that its a great HEAVY watch!"

"I bought this and after one month the stopwatch would not reset. And the nuts holding the band on, fell off. I have been working with a rep, but the repair people are less than competent. They said the problem was one thing and returned the watch (not fixed). I will write another review when the situation is resolved."

Almost a great watch

"This watch had everything I wanted. Looks, style, value, etc. Then I wore it, and my heart broke...lol. 5.11 apparantly has issues with the pins that connect the band to the case. They kept unscrewing and falling out. The replacements they sent were bad as well. After 3 replacement sets, I returned the watch. Too bad because I really liked it!!"
