"Great Carrier. Comfortable, easy to adjust, and has a drag handle on the inside so it's great that no one can try to jerk you or man handle you. Great for avid shooters and outdoors men, so many possible combos with it as a LBE.

Performs like a $100-200 fancy carrier, 5.11 quality, at a 5.11 price. Nice."

"Well I have been using this vest in traning. To see how well it would work for me being one of the smaller guys running around. It worked well in the Texas Heat wish there tie down to keep the vest from moving around when your running. Got the 5.11 pouches to go with the vest too."

Good active shooter platform. July 1, 2009
"As an instructor for a military/LEO training company we are always looking for "cost effective" equipment for our grossly underpaid LEO students. One thing we strongly recommend for patrol officers is some sort of rapid deployment or active shooter rig. When coupled with quality armor this particular unit is a good base platform to build a suitable rig. Keep in mind that this unit IS NOT suitable for extended wear due to some comfort a durability issues. In addition 5.11 offers a wide variety of extras (pouches,etc.) to fit specific equipment needs."

"I ordered this and various pouches to make the perfect airsoft vest. it may cost a little more over all but the ability to highly customize your vest is idealistic. About the only thing that could make it better are bridging under the arms that u could tear away. but thats just me. great vest over all. hope this helps."
