"When I purchased this jacket, I received great customer service. The representative actually went to measure the jacket herself and called back to inform me of the lengths which assured me a proper fit. Just the service they provided itself will draw me to do business with 5.11 in the future.
When I received this jacket, I was amazed on the quality put into it. For the price I paid, I got way more than I expected. There are pockets everywhere. I love pockets and theres almost too many to know what to do with them. I love the "secret" chest pockets, they make easy access for me while driving the ambulance if I need to contact dispatch or make hospital contact en route. The jacket itself felt at first it may be too light to keep me warm, but after wearing it a few nights in 40-50 degree weather (freezing for me in Southern California), the jacket did a great job holding in the heat and keeping me warm. Just yesterday, my partner and I were at a patients house and without knowing it, my back and legs got sprinkled on by the sprinklers, I did not even notice until I sat our unit and I brushed my 5.11 pant wet with my hand accidentally. My jacket didn't absorb anything. Another thing I like is how easy I can take it off and put it on. I have had other brand jackets in the field and it seemed agitating when the Velcro wrist holes was too tight and your hand wouldn't fit through without taking it off again or how after you put it on, it needed to be buttoned everytime. The self adjusting sleeve (the stretchy wrist hole) makes it easy and fast to take off and put on with it fitting perfectly everytime. The look the jacket has is very sharp and professional looking. After I added some patches and logos, I can say my patients definitely show more initial respect without saying too much. I look forward to seeing what other products 5.11 can make. I love wearing this jacket, I have no complaints at all and would recommend this jacket to any EMS and Fire personnel."
