Who needs Gortex!

"I've always shopped at stores like Cabela's when I needed a serious outdoor use coat or jacket. That was until I found out about the Aggressor Parka.
In the military I was issued the ECWS Gortex parka and I thought it was the best parka made. Well I was certainly wrong about that.
The Aggressor Parka has EVERYTHING you need in outerwear and more. It's not only comfortable but it's very quiet, something that is often overlooked. Just go and try one on and you'll see it has no rival."

"Got this jacket a couple of months ago, and I must say I'm pleased. It's a great jacket, who kept me warm for a long time whilst laying in deep snow. (Had to try it out;)) It's completely waterproof, and wind is not an issue. Great jacket overall, but I have a fem minor complaints;
The zipper is impossible to use if you've tightened up the drawstrings in the bottom of the jacket. Completely impossible. I've spent in excess of a minute trying to zip the parka:p The drawstrings are cleverly located inside the front pockets!Didn't understand this before quite som time! Great design, but I'd like a usersmanual on the jacket so I'd understand it faster. Also, the parka is a way to wide for me. I'm a tall person, so I need a XL jacket, but then it got enormous around my waist. I hope that 5.11 will possibly make a version of this either for tall people in general, or with drawstring on the back of the jacket as well! That's something I really miss, so I think I'll (have my mom) sew one in."

Wonderful Jacket but Awful Zipper

"I absolutely love this jacket EXCEPT for the zipper. I use 5.11 all the time and have never had a problem with quality, but this one appears to be the exception. If you want a wonderful jacket but don't ever need to zip it up, this one is for you."

Love this parka

"I had to travel to the Boston area over the Christmas season, with high temps in the 30's and several inches of snow fall on the ground; I needed a jacket to keep me warm in the cold weather and dry during the snow storms. This Parka not only kept me warm and dry it also kept out the wind which was blowing about 15 mph. If I ever need any other cold weather gear I'm looking here first."

"I have a love-hate relationship with this parka. I love the design, and I love how warm it keeps me. I love the flexibility of the detachable liner. I love the pockets. I love how it repels liquids and even tough stains.
What I hate most is that the zipper immediately broke on it, in only a couple of wears. The zipper is really, really cheap, and totally unworthy of the rest of the parka. Total garbage. I also hate all the black accents. I bought a coyote brown jacket because I wanted a coyote brown jacket. All the black fleece and zippers and velcro and tabs just looks cheap and out of place.
It's a quality coat that is tough and well constructed. It is well thought out and comfortable. But it needs to have better quality zippers, and get rid of all the black accents."

Awesome Jacket

"This jacket has it all and does it all. It can withstand the cold as well as the rain. I spent 3+ hours one shift in pouring rain and not once did this jacket fail. The removable liner works just as well by itself. I highly recommend this jacket to all who need a functional jacket that fits well and provides the right protection. Not to mention the pockets alone can haul a ton of extra gear."

Awesome Jacket

"This jacket is nothing short of an awesome jacket. The jacket comes in layers so you can make adjustments for the weather, and I find that it has all the pockets a person could need. When combined with the velcro holster and magazine pouches, I find it is a great way for me to carry my concealed weapon. The only bad part about this jacket is that my wife keeps wanting to steal it from me. Great jacket, would recommend to anyone."
