Great Fit Lousy Quality

"I tested this jacket for our dept. as a K9 handler. The jacket fit great but the zippers broke and the snaps all pulled off in the first three weeks. Granted K9 is a little tougher than patrol on jackets but the quality of zips and snaps really should be looked at. The jacket was warm but not 100% waterproof and it would help if the included fleece had radio mic holders."

"I am currently forward deployed in Afghanistan and brought the 5n1 jacket with me. It is supposed to be waterproof. I wore it in a light rain for less the 3 hours and when I took my jacket off. My entire back and arms were soaked. The jacket leaks at all the seams. Where the back flap storage area is, that was were most of the leakage came from. Plus where the arms are joined at the shoulders. The jacket was shipped to me and I took it out of the box and wore it. Since it stated water proof, I assumed that the company had quality control to ensure every product that leaves with there logo on it, stands up to there statement."

"i was skeptical. price / advertising. but after having this great jacket now for about 6 months, it was the best investment in a jacket i have ever made. being retired special operations, i have had many a jacket. i too have been in the 20's, on a motorcycle at hwy speed, and winds that felt like a hurricane. this jacket has lived up to everything and more than expected."

"Warmth is the key here. I have been in temps lower than 20 degrees on a daily baises. The pockets are warm and have room for my 511 gloves to be stored when not in use. My only thing I do not like about it is the hood. It is way too deep and big. I have to wear a hat in order to have it fit some what ok. It is water proof and kept me dry during our snow storm and temps lower than 20 degress. I would recomend this item to all. ps. I love all the hiden pockets...:)"

Good Jacket

"This is one of the best jackets I've worn including the standard Police leather and Issue patrol jacket. Really comfortable. Very warm with the full liner. Here in the Mid South I have to remove the fleece sleeves to stay comfortable except on the coldest (Low 20's) days. Excellent waterproofing and pockets for days. I would like to see a little lighter weight liner."
