511 Uniform Shirts

"Good shirt, but the front pockets need to be a little deeper. I usually keep a small pocket-sized notebook in my front pocket. This was not a problem with other brands, but unfortunately with the 511 shirt, the pocket isn't deep enough, so when the notebook is in the pocket, the flap sticks up a bit making it look sloppy. I really like this shirt and the other features (like hidden pocket, etc.), but 511 just needs to tweak those front pockets and make them deeper to make it more practical for L.E. Officers."

Shirt meets the need

"I am a new member of a search and rescue team, who requires a blue shirt and navy pants for operations. I noticed that some of the other team members were wearing this shirt and it had all of the items I was looking for. The most notable is the map pockets on the left and right breast. These large pockets are perfect for a notepad, map, smokes, etc.
When I ordered this shirt I had it shipped overnight, so I could wear this shirt for Leadership FTX. The first shirt that arrived the next day appeared to be the wrong size. The shirt was an XL regular (fitting guide stated the sleeves were 35.5") and when it arrived it was actually 34-35" sleeve length. This was too short for me, so I called customer service. She informed me that the dress class B and A shirt use a different size chart, which she could not navigate me to. the solution was simple to overnight an XL long shirt because the sleeve length is 36-37". This arrived the next day with free shipping due to the confusion.
I am happy with this shirt and because of that I recently purchased 15 other 5.11 items."

"These shirts are the best hands down. They look professional, the are very comfortable, and the features are awesome for the price of much lesser quality shirts. The first few times I wore one of these I got many comments about how good it looked. The extra pockets are great. I love these shirts!!!"

Best Uniform Shirt EVER!

"I'm a 30 year Police Officer and have been through plenty of uniform shirts. I purchased two of these Poly-Rayon shirts recently to replace the leading L.E. brand. The 5.11's have so many amenities, they win hands down in style, comfort, durability, and color-fastness. Additionally, they are just plain pratical for an officer with so many pockets, especially the front velcro flaps that allow you to store paperwork, or money where it will absolutely not be lost and the vents keep me cool, in Texas, that is a mjor consideration. Finally, they look just as good whether I choose to throw them in the washer or send them to the dry cleaners. I've endorsed them so much to my coworkers that some are calling me 5.11man."

Great Shirt

"I love this shirt. I use this as my daily duty shirt. The chest pockets are great. I tend to use them as my protable file cabinet. When I have papers that I need to carry around, and I want my hands free, it's nice to have the pockets.
The only thing that I wish, was that they were offered in fitted sizes. I don't really have a problem with the sizes, but it would be nice to have something that is a little better fitting, without having to spend on tayloring."

I only wish they had a zipper front as opposed to buttons.
