Good but.... August 27, 2009
"The shirt fits well and conceals well. It is not as hot as I would have thought.

The seams are itchy and the grey panels are a little disappointing. Black panels would have been much better. I wear another wicking shirt under it.

I'll probaby order another and I have recommended it to others. If 5.11 will fix the itchy seams it would be great. Changing the panels to black would be a bonus."

Excellent Shirt August 11, 2009
"I work in the medical field and wear scrubs all the time. I was unable to come up with a good carry option and had even thought about having custom pockets done for my pants but it would have been too heavy (Glock 17) and bumped into everything. I bought this shirt with a little reservations about it but the moment I put it on I was sold. My Glock 17 fits nicely into the pocket and does not move at all, even when I bend over at the hip with torso almost upside down, it stays put. Living in the South in the heat of the summer I was also worried about sweating but my shirt can be soaked with sweat and my Glock is dry. I'm sold will be ordering more now to I have one for each day of the week.

On size my chest, measured with tape measure was 40" I ordered xlarge and seems to fit snuggly. Much less than a 40 and I would go down one size.

My only complaint is that the washing instructions state no bleaching or fabric softener is to be used."

"If you like compression type shirts this is great. Personnally I don't like the tight fitting shirts so I will only wear it in certain circumstances but you can't beat it for carrying a larger weapon under a shirt either tucked in or not in the warmer seasons."

Great shirt...but... April 23, 2009
"Product images illustrated a black shirt. Some images show a dark grey with lighter grey holster "pockets". The actual garment is black with eye-popping grey holster "pockets" which advertise carry, not conceal. Even under an outer shirt it brings attention. Also, since I am short and fat, there is no concealing my .45 with this product even with an over-shirt. However, it is a VERY comfortable way to carry if concealment isn't an objective, or if a heavy loose over-jacket doesn't cause a problem."

Great Shirt, But.... January 9, 2009
"Very itchy the seams are the problem tried a t shirt under it but it doesn’t wick away very well with the other t-shirt under it. I only wish they had a long sleeved version of these shirts for the colder months."

Great design, but... November 30, 2008
"Like they say, the seams are very itchy. I wear a women's medium and was hesitant to order a men's medium because that size is always too big, but it turned out to be way too tight and I feel as if I am being choked. I ended up with a large and will wear a shirt under it. Great pocket design. No problem carrying a .40 with short barrel. .32 disappears and I'm only 5'3" and 125lbs."

Great way to carry concealed November 25, 2008
"Been using these shirts for over 6 months & it's the best way I've found to carry concealed while working. I'm in health care & it was difficult to find something that would work under my scrubs - these shirts were recommended to me & they've been the perfect solution. I often do wear another tight fitting shirt under them as they can be a bit itchy @ the seams. I only wish they had a long sleeved version of these shirts for the colder months."

Great Tool To Have For Carrying Concealed September 24, 2008
"I've had the black shirt for about a year, and recently purchased the white one. They work brilliantly for carrying concealed especially when wearing dress clothes, or shirts that have to be tucked in. The shirt does a great job of hiding what you have in it. Plenty of storage for other small items too. Just wear a tight under armor shirt underneath if the shirt causes itching."

Unexpected Performance September 16, 2008
"I bought this shirt for a full size framed weapon, expecting some sag and stretch in the material. It has performed perfectly. I'm stowing a S&W M&P9 in it on a daily business. ZERO print from the gun and it holds high and tight, just like it's supposed to. I'm really impressed that it holds it's shape and stretch so well, even with 17 rounds in the magazine. Thanks for a great product, 5.11."

Best shoulder holster rig ever! September 9, 2008
"Very pleased with the over all use of this shirt. It can be warm but it wicks well. I wear it on a regular basis and have both the black and white versions. I'll be getting the v-neck version next. I would agree with a previous review that the openings need a better seal. If I bend over to pick something up, my pistol falls out. This could be a liability in a chase or fight."

"As other reviewers have said, this shirt is itchy. I recommend wearing another T-shirt underneath for off duty carry. Allows you to tuck in your nice button ups while. While on-duty, I wear this over my ballistic armor. It gives a nice fit look to my uniform and provided and nice BUG holster and another pocket to carry extra gear (cell phone and spit hood in my case)."

"I have tried a variety of concealed carry methods and find this to the best to date. It allows one to wear everyday clothing, and it is very secure. Also, it does not require the use of a bulky jacket or vest.
I would like to see this product offered in a Nomex-type material to make it safer in situations or environments where there is a potential for fire."

"I like it, although its impractical with body armor which I wear all the time. But for concealment it's good. I carry my subcompact and an extra mag with no real issues. It's all how you pull it off, if your subconcious about off duty carry then this and a roomy covert shirt is a good alternative to strong side in the waistband. Also a good option when wearing a light pair of shorts without a belt."

"This is a great product, but I also have problems with it being very itchy. It is a great way to conceal my Springfield EMP. I like the way it fits, keeps me cool, and it has held up very well. If only it wouldn't itch so bad."

If it only didnt itch me August 28, 2008
"Unfortunately, I could only love this shirt for 20 minutes at a time. It fit perfectly, concealed my mini glock great and was cool to wear. But the lower seams for both pockets itched my ribs terribly. I could not find any loose threads or unusually rough areas that might cause this. Even after a few washings it persisted. All the other features were well done. If it weren't for the itching, I'd have one in each color."

Good Holster shirt -suggested improvement August 27, 2008
"I have used the first and second generation of this holster shirt over the last two years. I really appreciate the quality and usefulness of this product. 5.11, I have had magazines slip out when bending over to pick-up things. I would like to see a tighter closure on the pockets as extra magazines slip out occasion. A suggestion...put velcro fully along the pocket - leave just enough room at the top end for a large thumb...user could quickly reach their opposite hand across the face of the pocket, insert their thumb, ripping downwards for a quick open and access to the tools within. Thanks for making great products with our input in mind!"
