"I have tried every brand of moisture wicking shirt out there. I prefer the tight fit because they allow body armor to move around without bunching up and pulling out of your pants. The overall quality of the 5.11 is superior to the other top brand and the sewn seams are noticably more comfortable. An XL is actually an American XL. I had to get two sizes larger just for the other brands shirt to fit right. The other brands customer service is also horrible."

"This is probably the best under shirt on the market! Much more comfortable than the leading brand! The saddle shoulders were a great idea as well as the mesh underarms, and it holds it's compression much longer than the leading brand wash after wash!"

"I have used the leading brand for a long time previous and by chance, happened across 5.11 Undergear when a popular website had some odd ball colors on clearance. I used them under my vest and weren't visible in our winter long sleeves. The 5.11's lasted much longer and were far more comfortable so, i purchased some white one's for the summer months. So far, it seems i am staying cooler and notice less sweat on my vest panels with the 5.11's. Rest assured, i am aquiring enough for the entire weeks tour of duty!!!"

"I own 4 of these, and the reviewers were right! I own UA versions of these shirts, and the 5.11 ones are much more comfortable, especially for many hours a day. the under arm vents are a nice feature since I sweat a lot! I wont buy the "other" brand again!"

"I love this shirt. I have tried about 3 other brands including the most popular brand. The flat seams in these shirts make all the difference in the world. I think it is the biggest advantage over other brands. I was skeptical about the mesh underarms, but now I'm a believer. The shoulder construction allows for a greater range of motion. If you buy one and try it, you will definately buy 4 or 5 more. THIS SHIRT WAS DEFINATELY DESIGNED TO BE WORN UNDER BODY ARMOR!!!"

"I own a few of the undergear tight crew shirts. They provide amazing support for a long work day. Great fit very comfortable. I would say if you dont have one of these you realy should think about getting one and trying it out for yourself. They work great keep you cool in those hot days with all your gear on. "I've been useing the tight crew short sleeve shirt for both working out and under my vest while at work. The shirt is remarkable in keeping me comfortable and wicks sweat away while training or on hot days when wearing a vest is challenging. The underam panels allows the shirt to breathe more readily than the competitors' products and the 5.11 shirts wear better and longer too. I highly reccomend this product."
