"Believe me, I've tried them all and these are the absolute best. With some of the other brands, you might as well go freestyle, but these give you support and breathability, which is of paramont importance. 5.11 is topnotch!"

"Soaks up sweat pretty well: biggest difference from competitor products is the comfortable fit around the genital region-other competitors are too snug around this area. I am going to buy 4 more pairs."

"I like this product. It fits well and doesn't ride up or lose it's shape like some do. My only complaint is that the mesh seemed to overstretch and show signs of weakness in the groin. Beyond that, I am happy with this product."

"Okay, I'm and old guy approaching 25 years in public safety and never thought I would be writing a review for cop underwear! I wore this pair for the first time today for a hot summer 12-hour shift and everything felt great at the end. They let thing move that need to move and keeps things put that should. (I mean really, how else to you describe it) It's 2009 and I'm paying $20 for underwear. I must be crazy! A very good product."

"I'm currently wearing my 5.11 sports briefs for the first time. I'm about one third of the way through a 24 hour shift, and they feel great so far. I've never worn any kind of performance shorts before, just a name brand boxer brief for support and comfort. So far these are extremely comfortable, breathe nicely. When I first put them on I was a little skeptical because they didn't seem to offer the snug support of what I was used to. I may try dropping down a size and trying out a pair of mediums to see if there's a big difference. They stay in place nicely, no riding up of the legs or anything. Definitely will be stocking up on these."

"One thing about being a "working cop" is comfort. If your clothes are to big or to small your not on your game. After wearing the competitors undergear I felt uncomfortable, then wearing 5.11 bottoms, you get comfort flexibility and control. There is nothing like these bottoms the material is quality and expandable when moving on a minutes notice. Don't forget crime does not make appointments. Be on your game with 5.11 products"

Wicks away moisture perfectly August 30, 2008
"It takes a lot to get an old guy to spend 20 bucks on underwear, but I've got to say that these are well worth the money. San Antonio is known for hot and hotter. These underwear keep me dry all day. They are comparable to the other big name wicking garment but these are made of a mesh that seems to do the job even better. I just need to get about 10 more pair so I not bothering my wife to wash everyday."

"you MUST try this undergear! since the first time i put them on, i have NEVER used anything else. these offer long-lasting support in all the right places and are very breathable. i dont know if $20 for undergear is a good deal, but there simply is no other option out there right now!"

Disappointing Item August 27, 2008
"I ordered a pair of 5.11 Sport Briefs (which, by the way, are more like boxerbriefs or trunks than true briefs) from a 3rd party supplier and was very disappointed to find that before wearing them the stitching on one of the seams was already unraveling. Washing them only made the unraveling even worse.

Because I know 5.11 stands by their merchandise, I contacted them directly and got prompt replies and an unsolicited offer from customer service to replace the merchandise. That was reassuring and professional. However, I'm sorry to report that the replacement items too were defective and not as sturdy as the typical 5.11 merchandise is in general.

My summary? Beware and buy cautiously. The fit is more generous than typical in boxerbriefs, so I advise ordering one size down."

"We have brutal summers here in the south. I tried a few pairs out and even in 100 plus days these keep the moisture from sweating away and dry in seconds. I dont wear any other while on duty now. Try them, you will love them."
