"This is by far the best shirt for wearing under a vest that I've found. I started by buying one and have just bought my fourth one. I work in a hot climate and sweat alot anyhow, and this shirt is more comfortable and dryer than the other brands."

More than just muscle protection

"Like the other reviewer, I wear these under my motorcycle armor. Recently, I noticed, though, that the shirt has a terrific quality for which I will be buying another couple. One reviewer complained it's very stiff. This is the primary reason I got it to augment my body armor.
However, I recently broke a bunch of ribs and dislocated my shoulders. The shirt, with its very firm compression fit, holds all these pieces in place and takes so much load off them that it substantially reduces the amount of pain I'm in. I absolutely *love* these shirts, and I have compression shirts from the MCX, from UA, and a couple knock-off brands. The 5.11's are just the very best."

"I bought a couple of these shirts to wear under my motorcycle "body armor". These shirts keep me cool and provide support for long rides. They do such a great job of drawing moisture away from the body that I wear them when I go on bicycle rides in hot temperatures."

Comfortable Compression

"I have never liked compression undergear until I tried the 5.11 Muscle Mapping Shirt. The various compression zones offer support and comfort beyond the looser fitting 5.11 shirts. At the end of the shift, I can sure tell a difference with the Muscle Mapping shirt. I feel more comfortable and cooler. An all around great product."

Should've ordered a larger size

"This shirt had all the features that I wish other undershirts had. I usually wear an off-brand performance undershirt that is always uncomfortable in the underarms. This shirt has some good features that I think would make it more comfortable. I should have ordered the next larger size (I got an XL) because it is pretty tight around your abs and difficult to get on and off. I recommend going on the larger side."
