"It took about a month to get used to wearing them without having the feeling of falling out or tripping. There very light and comfortable. I have had them about 5months now and my concern is the durability of the material. The toe is completely scuffed up and there are a lot of gouges and tears in them."

"This is my 1st pair of 5.11 boots. I've worn them for almost 2 months now, and would purchase them again. Took about 3 hours to break them in (got them wet inside and walked them dry). They've been through fuel spills and a few large brush fires with no signs of wear or degradation. 5.11 has hit a home run with this design."

"I've had these boots for about a month and they are OK. They definately take a lot to break in. I had to wear them for short periods of time to loosen them up. They wore a blister/hole in the top of my big toe from the safety toe which really sucked. The only other complaint that I really have about them though is that they are very difficult to get off of your feet. I've had other slip-ons (made in Australia) and they were a breeze to get on and off, but with the 511's, I almost have to sit or at least lean on something to get them off. Maybe they will loosen up, but so far they haven't. I'd probably go with the other set of slipon's if I had the chance to go back and do it."

"Theese are the most comfortable Safety toe boots on the market.They are comfortable and allow your feet to breathe all day.They are absolutely no problem to wear all day while on duty.Higly recommend to everyone.They are so light you will think you are walking on air!"
