The 5.11 ATAC Station CT8 Boot is a great work boot. Built from full-grain leather, this boot is comfortable and durable. If your department requires safety toe protection, this boot meets that standard with a certified ASTMF 2413.05 composite safety toe. "I'm a FF/EMT in a large chemical plant. The conditions are ever-changing and this boot is adaptable to every situation I've ever put them in. I can be in them for 12 hours at a time or out of them quickly if I need to be. They are the best fitting boot I've worn in my 11 years on the job. I'm on my fifth pair and I intend to keep buying them!"

Great for Boats and Boardings

"I bought these because my old boots were toast. After using them on boats they are great. The safety toe meets all my service’s requirements and has saved me some dings. The soles have great traction on the wet deck of a boat so far have not marked the fiberglass decks of civilians’ boats when I have done boardings. (Trust me; people get cranky when you put a boot mark on their $1 million dollar boat.) The side zip is great for putting on the boots quickly and is a breeze to take off. Finally, like every other review the boots are comfortable the minute you put them on. Glad I bought them."

"I work as booth a cop and a fireman and was waiting for a pair of safety toe boots for the fire service. 5.11 finally came out with them and they are every bit as good as the duty boots I wear at the PD."

Excellent Boot

"I'm an EMT and on a shift spend 12+ hours in my boots. I have never had a more comfortable pair of boots on or off the job. They get good traction on slippery surfaces and are surprisinly light. The composite toe used by 5.11 Tactical makes these boots lighter than traditional steel toe boots. The side zipper is also a great feature for fire personnel who need to get their boots off in a hurry. These boots feature a sturdy zipper that doesn't snag and keeps perfoming use after use. Overall a great buy and I would recomend them to anyone."
