"I purchase the 5.11 8" Sleets about 4 months ago and the inside cushion and sole have worn out. My heels now have no cushion and walk hard in the shoe. I wouldn't recommend this boot if you have a position which requires lots of walking and standing."

"These are by far the best boots I've ever worn. I spent 20+ yrs. in the military and going on 14 yrs as a Corrections officer. Not only do they fit great, they actually keep my feet warm. Excellent boot!"

Best boot I've ever owned

"This is by far one of the best pairs of boots that I have ever owned. I wore them to work the next day after I received them. I brought an extra pair of boots with me expecting that I would be "breaking in" this pair for a couple of hours. I never took these off. There was no break in period and I haven't stopped wearing them daily."

"This boot is so comfortable, you can wear them all day and 1/2 the night and still not want to take them off! They keep your feet warm and dry! I would recommend these boots for fall and winter!"

"These boots are the best work boots that i have ever worn. Virtually no break in period and the antibacterial liner keeps them smelling fresh and clean. Waterproofing is flawless and reinforeced areas are really tough. This is all after 6 months of wear. I expect them to last me a very long time. 5.11 for life!!"
